Crafts with natural materials: decorative idea from forest finds

Crafts with natural materials – with finds from the forest, of course, beautiful DIY decoration ideas such as a picture frame made of peeled branches can be implemented.
Get creative with finds from the forest
If we have a DIY idea in mind, our first point of contact is usually the nearest craft store or hardware store. However, it becomes really sustainable when we get creative with things that are no longer needed (upcycling) or go out in the wild to search for and find objects from nature. This month I developed a guide for the Frosch Blog, which is all about crafting with natural materials. I came up with a DIY for which I looked for branches and other natural elements on the ground in the forest, and then used them for a simple and simple one Decoration DIY to use.
DIY idea for young and old: a nature picture frame
The result is a picture frame that looks organic thanks to the naturalness of the branches. In addition, I embellished it with some dried fern, which I also discovered in the forest. First I sawed the four branches to the right length. Then I removed her bark with the help of a cutter knife and then connected it with cotton cord. In order to attach a photo in the frame, I last stretched a cord in the middle of the frame. The photo can be securely clamped to it using a paper clip. The picture frame made of finds from the forest is ready! Incidentally, this project can also be implemented very well with children and is an ideal employment opportunity. First, it goes with the kids in the forest to discover exciting materials, then a great decorative piece is made from it at home, which is also wonderful gift for grandparents or other relatives & friends.
