Would you like a fresh breeze in your wardrobe and don’t feel like buying new? With the right fabric color, you can easily paint a simple T-shirt and turn it into a completely new trend piece.
Painting a T-shirt – a floral project for spring
Do you know that too? When spring knocks on the door, I have a constant need to finally bring order back to the apartment. Of course, I don’t stop in front of the wardrobe: Sorting out is at the top of my list for my spring cleaning. But not everything that is mucked out is sold or given away. If possible, I try to give the parts a second chance using my creative transformation skills. For example, I have in the past embellished a simple t-shirt with an embroidery or a simple black bag decorated with tassels and sequins.
For the frog blog, for which I think about a new DIY every month, I have come up with an idea in March how you can give a shirt a second chance even faster & easier: with fabric paint! I embellished a simple olive green shirt with a floral line drawing of a bouquet of wildflowers. The motif just fits perfectly in spring and makes you want the warm season.
You want to know how to do it? Here you will find the instructions in which I will tell you how you can easily paint a T-shirt: Floral upcycling with fabric color
Do you like the idea? Or do you know of other ways to easily embellish garments? I definitely hope you enjoy trying my idea!
