DIY plant decoration homemade
Actually, I’m not the type for decorative elements in the apartment. But when it comes to home-made plant decoration, I’m open to everything. Small porcelain figurines, wooden animals, wall stickers or a host of tea lights – you can hunt me with them. But when it comes to beautifully designed flower pots, interesting vases or decorations for the wall where plants are used, then you have me. That is why there are many on schereleimpapier.de DIY ideas with plants to discover.
Plant decoration as a mural
Let’s start with this beautiful wall decoration, which is Molly from almost makes perfect made up. She conjured up this great background from different leaves. I think that she was incredibly successful and I could also imagine something like that in my future living room. Here you can find the instructions. Be sure to check out their other DIY projects too! She has such a wonderfully simple style, very reserved and yet totally beautiful.
You may already be familiar with this project of mine: I used a fern leaf to print cards. You can not only send them afterwards, but also frame them wonderfully or choose a larger format as the basis instead of a postcard and thus create a correct picture. You can find the instructions for my floral cards here: floral DIY cards
Succulents & birch bark
This beautiful idea comes from Lisa vom Bog my fairy dust. Cacti and birch bark are actually two very different climates. Nevertheless or precisely because of this, I think that the combination of the two materials is particularly refreshing. Here you can find the instructions. By the way, on Lisa’s blog you can currently find many more creative DIY ideas that also use plants. Click your way through!
Homemade art from plants
You may have seen this great picture made from a palm leaf. I have encountered it at least a few times online. Rightly so, I think, because I have hardly seen a better way to put plants on the wall. The idea comes from Mette’s blog Monster circus. On her blog you will find lots of other inspirations for DIY projects in Scandinavian design. Here you will find the instructions for the plant picture.
Copper & eucalyptus
The most beautiful form of decoration for me is when a utility object is designed so nicely that no additional decoration is necessary. This mirror embellishment by Francesca from the blog Fall for DIY was actually created in the Christmas season. But I think that their mirror can look like this all year round. The idea is so simple & simple, but still very effective, don’t you think? You can find the contribution here.
