Are you tired of the tons of unnecessary paper waste for Christmas? I’ll show you how you can easily make sustainable gift packaging yourself – from old mailing bags!
Christmas without unnecessary paper waste …
… this is not a utopian idea, it is something that can really be implemented. With sustainable packaging ideas that use materials that would end up in the garbage anyway, we can save the mass of wasted paper Christmas party avoid or at least reduce. One possibility is, for example, the use of old wrapping paper, which can either be used neat or designed further using color. There are endless possibilities here: stamping, sprinkling, lighting, etc. …
Make gift packaging yourself – a sustainable idea
This month I came up with a slightly different idea for the Frosch Blog: I will show you how you can make old, geometrically simple gift packaging out of old mailing bags – in pyramid form. For this you will find a template to print out on the Frosch Blog that you simply have to transfer to the old mailing bag. Then it says: Cut out with the cutter, scratch in the folds, design with a monogram if necessary (I used adhesive letters from the office supplies) and fold them together. Finally, the packaging only needs to be filled with a little something ( Here and here I have a few ideas for you) and the Christmas gift is ready.
I kept my little two pyramids rather simple, but of course you can design them further – with color, with fir branches, ribbons etc. Let your creativity run wild!
