Easy DIY for all bookworms: A simple magazine holder can be built from plywood, which can be attached to the wall to save space.
Do it step by step to DIY
It goes on! I recently took you to my bedroom here on the blog and showed you what has changed – I had one Bench built out of wood, a Painted wall and some new plants have moved in there. Now I have already implemented the next project for the Frosch Blog, for which I develop a DIY idea every month: Because I don’t have a real bedside table, magazines and books have so far collected on the floor next to my bed and wanted exactly this problem I tackle now.
A magazine holder for the wall
So without further ado I built a magazine holder myself – of course from pine wood, because that’s the predominant material in my bedroom. In addition to the pallet bed, there are also DIY bank, my chest of drawers from the furniture sweden who DIY mirror, the DIY clothes ladder as well as the DIY wardrobe made of untreated pine, so it was clear to me from the beginning that my magazine holder would also be made of this material.
The implementation of the project is actually quite simple: two wooden panels are connected to one another with the help of metal angles and then a wooden stick is sawn into individual parts with the help of a hand saw, which complement the base into a cuboid in an airy and light way.
To keep the floor free, I mounted the magazine holder directly on the wall. So everything has its fixed order and cleaning is easier for you.
